Dear Siler,
Today you are two months old! I can't believe how fast it is all going! I think that I have already forgotten parts of your life! You are such a great baby. You eat well, you sleep well, you smile, you coo....it just keeps getting better.
I'm sorry that I don't take you out in the yard much to play yet, but I think that saunas are not safe for small children so we will wait until the fall. However, the past couple of days in Charleston have been pleasant so we've been trying to get you outside more. Last night we went for a walk and put you in the stroller. It was the first time you stayed awake for the whole walk and looked around . It was great (minus all of the mosquitoes)! You have been to the mountains of NC, the beaches of SC and in September we are going to take you to Utah, Idaho, and Colorado. I promise we will try our hardest to show you as much of the world as we can, and what we don't get to, I hope you do.
As I am typing this you have rolled from your back to your side! You are focusing better and really seem to recognize us, your neck is getting much stronger and so are your legs. I think you are going to be a climber as you try to climb on me all the time! You used to just stick your tongue out at people and now you smile and coo at them. You started with only reflexes and now you have more control, all in just two months! It is really happening much quicker than I thought it would.
Thank-you for being such a great baby....sorry if we don't ever bring a sibling into your life....what if the next isn't so great?? We love you very much!
